Late last year the Government through the ministry of education announced the reduction of secondary school fees across all public schools.The Jubilee Administration also plans to allocate every day-school student Sh22,844 which is expected to start this month. This is a move to implement its manifesto of offering Free Day Secondary Education once re-elected.
KSh23.5 billion has already been allocated to the education Ministry according to Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi. The amount will be used to buy materials like exercise books, pens, and management of internal exams. Below are fee structures for national schools, secondary schools with boarding and day schools.
