The school started formal nursing training in 1949. In 2016, it transitioned from a nursing school to a training college to offer additional courses.
The college is an authentic and unpretentious college of health sciences where students, lecturers and staff care deeply about each other. It has continuously celebrated 100% pass during final external examinations.
Apart from normal classes, the school engages and exposes students to all clinical practices from the busy PCEA Tumutumu Level 5 Hospital.

Requirements: KCSE C (plain), C (plain) in Biology/ English/ Kiswahili and C- in Chemistry, Physics or Maths.

Requirements: C- in KCSE or a Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics.
