In this article, we will have a look at Safaricom 5G WiFi Packages. Safaricom recently became the first mobile network operator in the country to offer the 5G network. 5G offers faster speeds, lower latency, and improved reliability than previous versions- 4G and 3G.
To get Safaricom’s 5G WiFi, first, you will either need to buy a one-off cost 5G Router for Ksh 25,000 ( available at Safaricom shops countrywide) or sign up for a 36-month contract and be provided with the router for free. A SIM card will then be provided to you by select dealers countrywide.

How To Renew Your Safaricom 5G WiFi Internet Package
When your allocated data volume is depleted, you can renew your package by dialling *400# and selecting 5G WiFi, or by visiting the MySafaricom App and selecting 5G WiFi. Please note that 5G WiFi internet packages are valid for 30 days, and any unused data after 30 days will expire. You can use the data anywhere in Kenya with 5G and 4G network coverage.
