Course Requirements
To apply for the Artisan course at Mathenge Technical Training Institute, you must have completed secondary school and taken the KCSE Level Exam. For the Certificate course, applicants should possess a minimum grade of D+ in KCSE or hold an artisan certificate from a recognized institute or its equivalent.
For the Diploma course, applicants should have a minimum grade of C- in KCSE or hold a craft certificate from a recognized institute or its equivalent qualification.

- All Module I trainees pay Examination Fees with the Second Installment while Module II and III pay with the Single Instalment as per applicable KNEC charges as attached.

- 6) Payments for Training and Accommodation fees should be made in favor of Siaya Institute of Technology by Bankers Cheques/drafts or Direct Deposit to the Secretary, Board of Governors/ Principal
- Boarding fees are optional at KShs 4500 per term on a first come first served basis.
- Only students who are 35 years and below are eligible for GOK Capitation and only those placed by KUCCPS
- All Trainees are eligible to apply to Higher Education Loans Board to finance their training.
- Those who are not on GoK Capitation must pay KShs 15,000 with each Installment for Module I whereas Module II or III pay KShs 30,000 with the Single Installment.
