This article focuses on the courses offered at Sister Leonella Consolata Medical College. The college is a faith-based institution under the Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri. It is the training section of Consolata Hospital Mathari (Level 5).
The institution was initially known as Consolata Nursing School. It was founded in 1945 by the Consolata Missionaries to offer Certificate in Nursing. It later would grow and attain its current stature as a fully-fledged medical college.
In 2019, it was renamed to Sister Leonella Consolata Medical College in memory of Sister Leonella Sgorbati, a Consolata missionary for her distinguished services.

1. Higher Diploma in Nephrology Nursing
Duration: 1 year.
KCSE Mean Grade: C and above.
Cluster Subjects: BSC, KRCHN/ KRN/ MPH/ KRNM and 2 years of clinical experience.
2. Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
Duration: 3 years.
KCSE Mean Grade: C and above.
Cluster Subjects: C and above in English or Kiswahili and Biology, C- and above in either Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.
3. Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing and Midwifery
Duration: 3 years.
KCSE Mean Grade: C and above.
Cluster Subjects: C and above in English or Kiswahili and Biology, C- and above in either Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.
4. Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology
Duration: 2 years and 6 months.
KCSE Mean Grade: C- and above.
Cluster Subjects: C and above in English or Kiswahili and Biology. C- and above in either Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.
5. Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology
Duration: 1 year.
KCSE Mean Grade: D and above.

Mode of Study
Full-time (Monday- Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm) and distance learning.
The school is open to both boarders and day scholars.
