The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College Fees Structure 2023

Here is The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College fees structure as of 2023. It is located along Kikuyu Road in the Waithaka area of Dagoreti South. The college is owned and operated by The Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

Established in June 2008, The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College is accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) to train nurses under Kenya registered Community Health Nursing Program. The college is also a registered examination centre by the Kenya National Examination Centre (KNEC) for diploma and Certificate in Social Work and Community development programs.

Since its establishment, the institution has graduated over 300 skilled health workers. 80% of these graduates are absorbed by The Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

a) Higher Diploma Programmes

1. Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing  (Kenya Registered Critical Care Nursing (ICU Nursing)

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Nursing(KRN/KRCHN/KRN-M) OR Nursing Degree(BSN) with at least one-year of working experience.

Duration: 1 Year

Tuition per trimester: Ksh 79,000

2. Higher Diploma in PeriOperative Theatre Nursing (Theatre Nursing) 

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Nursing(KRN/KRCHN/KRN-M) OR Nursing Degree(BSN) with at least one-year working experience

Duration: 1 Year

Tuition per trimester: Ksh 79,000

b) DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

1. Diploma in Nursing (Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing)

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade C (plain) with a C plain in either English/Kiswahili, C plain in biology and a C- minus in either math/chem. /physics.

Duration: 3 years

Tuition per trimester: Ksh 43,500

2. Diploma in Peri-Operative Theatre Technology

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade: C- ( Minus) OR Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology

Duration: 2 years

Tuition per trimester: Ksh 37,000

3. Diploma in Social Work and Community Development

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean Garde: C- (Minus) or Certificate in Social Work& Community Development.

Duration: 2.5 years

Tuition per trimester: Ksh 28,500

4. Diploma in Medical Social Work 

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean Garde: C- (Minus)

Duration: 3 years

Tuition per trimester: 28,500

5. Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade C- ( MINUS) with D+ in English, Biology, Chemistry, D plain in either Physics/math D plain in either home science/agriculture or Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Duration: 3 years

6. Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade: C- minus or Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology

Duration: 3 years

7.  Diploma In Community Health

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade: C- minus  or Certificate in Certificate in Community Health

Duration: 2 years

Tuition per trimester: 28,500

8. Diploma in Counseling Psychology

Minimum Requirements

KCSE Mean grade C- minus or Certificate in Counselling

Duration: 2 years
