2. Flyboarding

Flyboarding is a revolutionary new water sport that allows you to swim like a dolphin and hover up to 20 feet in the air. This is done by wearing a board that propels a high volume of water out of two nozzles. A jet ski generates the power, and a 50-foot hose redirects the water from the ski to the Flyboard. A thrilling 30-minute flyboarding session can cost you from $100.

7. Paragliding

Paragliding involves foot launching from high ground and gracefully soaring like a bird in the skies and should not be confused with sky diving which involves jumping out of an aeroplane or parasailing which involves being towed by a boat. You need to get strong winds and high ground to jumpstart your glide as it is not motorized in any way. One can glide for hours if the winds are favourable. Some of the best locations to go paragliding are Kijabe, Mt. Ololokwe, Ndoto Mountains and Kerio Valley.

With its consistent trade winds, Kenya also lets windsurfer hearts beat faster. Windsurfing has a long history in Kenya with Diani being a Mecca for windsurfers in the ’80s and ’90s. Not quite as fast as jet skiing, windsurfing will have you riding the ocean waves on a longboard (looks like a surfboard) attached to a sail with prices from around $ 40-57 for 2 hours.
