They choose not to be intimidated by the male specie in fighting for the rights of the citizens and acquiring power to help women in the society follow their lead. Among the most notable, influential female politicians taking 2017 by storm include;
1. Sabina Chege
She is the Muranga County Women rep. a combination of beauty with brains, and a voice of the woman in the society. She began as an actor before joining the university, then later became a renowned journalist in a popular radio station after which she started pursuing her political ambitions.
2. Millie Odhiambo
Her political tipping point came when she served as a delegate at the Bomas of Kenya, during the constitutional drafting process. She is the Current Mbita MP.
3. Naisula Lesuuda.

She is the Kilifi county women rep, and one of the most vocal politician in the ODM party. Aisha is a tough woman who knowns how to argue her cases strongly and is not afraid of challenging the government. She is an epitome of strength of a woman to her fellow coastal women who are known to be conservative.
6. Margaret Kenyatta.
The first lady is the most powerful female politician in Kenya. The fact that she plays a role in making major political decisions affecting the country with the president justifies that. Her beyond zero campaign to provide mobile clinics in Kenya won the hearts of many.
7. Gladys Wanga.
She’s a tough woman who is a fierce debater known for causing drama in the national assembly. The Homabay county women rep, started her political career back in Kenyatta university where she was elected as the secretary general of the student’s union.
8. Wavinya Ndeti.
The outspoken politician is currently vying as the Machakos Governor . The former Kathiani MP is one of the most vocal politician, who argues with facts. She is the chairperson of political party liaison committee whose political ambitions are quite strong.
