Trans National Times Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

This article focuses on Trans National Times Sacco membership eligibility and requirements. Trans National Times Sacco was registered in 1977 (CS 2660) and licensed as a deposit-taking Sacco by SASRA in 2011.

The Sacco started operations with a membership of about 200, to promote the socio-economic wellbeing of TSC employees in the current Trans Nzoia County.

The society has over time grown in both membership and capital to become the giant that it is today, serving a membership of over 7,000 being drawn from different sectors.

Trans National Times Sacco Membership Eligibility

Employees of Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
KNUT employees.
Members of disciplined forces (KDF, regular police, administration police, prison wardens).
Ministry of Education employees.
Trans National Times Sacco staff.
Diaspora civil servants.
ECD teachers.
Security guards.
Private school teachers.
Business entrepreneurs.
Any other acceptable organisation may be admitted by the board from time to time.

Trans National Times Sacco Membership Requirements

A fully filled membership application form. The form is available on the Sacco’s website or can be picked from the Sacco’s office.
A recent colour passport-size photo.
A clear copy of National ID (both sides).
Be 18 years and above.
Should not be a member of another sacco with similar objectives.
The person should not have been convicted of a criminal offence involving fraud or dishonesty.
Should not directly, be a money lender or carrying out such activities detrimental to the objectives of the society.
The person should be of good character and sound mind.
