Tsavo West National Park Entry Fees

In this article, we will have a look at Tsavo West National Park entry fees. The park is located in Taita Taveta and Makueni counties covering an area of 9,065 square kilometres. It is the second-largest park in Kenya.

Tsavo West National Park is famous for its large herds of red elephants. It is home to other Big Five animals such as lions, leopards, buffalos, and rhinoceroses. This is also one of the best parks in Kenya to enjoy bird watching since it houses more than 500 species of birds.

The savannah ecosystem of Tsavo West National Park is a sight to behold. It is composed of open grasslands, woodlands, scrubs, and riverine vegetation. The park’s rugged arid landscape is also characterised by rocky ridges, a spring (Mzima Spring), a volcanic arena, rivers (Tsavo River and Athi River), Lake Jipe, and volcanic hills.
