This article focuses on Mount Elgon National Park entrance fees for 2025. It is one of the 22 national parks managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). The park is located partly in Bungoma County and Trans Nzoia County on the Kenya-Uganda border.
Designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Mt. Elgon National Park is characterized by pristine tropical rainforests, lava tube caves, a caldera, cliffs, glacial tarns, valleys, waterfalls, streams, and springs. It is home to elephants, over 144 species of birds, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, leopards, gazelles, waterbucks, hyenas, duikers, antelopes, wild cats, and bushbucks.
The park is a paradise for nature lovers, offering some of the best hiking trails in Kenya. Additionally, visitors can enjoy biking, mountain climbing, and guided nature walks.
