This is a list of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing centres in Nairobi. STIs are mostly transmitted through sexual intercourse (unprotected sex) with infected persons. The infections can also be transmitted through breastfeeding and sharing of needles or other piercing objects with infected persons. Some of the most common types of STIs in Kenya include; Syphilis, HIV, Gonorrhoea, Herpes, Genital warts, Anal warts and Human Papillomavirus.
There are different types of tests that can be conducted to determine whether one has been infected with an STI. This includes blood tests, urine and fluid samples test and screening.
