Established in January 2021, Pretata Institute of Professional Studies (PIPS) is accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya to offer the Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) program. The three-year diploma programme is designed to equip learners with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to become well-rounded and competent nurses.

Pretata Institute of Professional Studies Nursing Admission Requirements

  • Minimum entry age – 17 years
  • Aggregate KCSE (mean grade) C plain or KCE division II

The mandatory subjects should include a minimum of:

  • C plain English or Kiswahili
  • C plain in Biology or Biological sciences
  • C-(minus) in Mathematics or physics/chemistry/physical sciences
