In this post, we have covered the entrance fees for Ruma National Park. Located in Homa Bay County, Ruma is one of the 22 national parks managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
The park lies in the Lambwe Valley, close to Lake Victoria, and is bordered by the Kanyamwa Escarpment to the southeast and the volcanic plugs of the Ruri Hills to the north.
It is Kenya’s last remaining sanctuary for the endangered Roan antelope and the only protected area where the globally threatened Blue Swallow can be found. Other wildlife in this beautiful park includes giraffes, various antelopes, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, over 400 species of birds, leopards, hyenas, honey badgers, monkeys, and much more.
