This article focuses on the courses offered at AIC Litein Medical Training College. In 2011, the management of AIC Litein Hospital under the tutelage of the board of trustees set up AIC Litein Medical College, with a mission to glorify God by training and developing Christian healthcare professionals.
It is a mission-run medical training college that is committed to quality training of healthcare professionals. It began with its first intake of students for a three-year medical laboratory training course. Later in 2013, it introduced a diploma in nursing course following approval by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
In 2017, the college added a 3 year diploma in clinical medicine and surgery to the list of courses offered. As time goes by, the management of the college intends to introduce other medical courses in line with the school’s vision.

1. Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN)
Minimum Requirements
- Mean grade of C plain in KCSE.
- C plain in English/Kiswahili.
- C plain in Biology.
- C- (minus) in Maths/ Chemistry/ Physics.
2. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Services
Minimum Requirements
- Mean grade of C plain in KCSE.
- C plain in English/Kiswahili.
- C plain in Biology and Chemistry.
- C plain in Maths/Physics.
3. Medical Laboratory Sciences In-Service Upgrading Programme
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in medical laboratory sciences.
- KMLTTB registration certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
4. Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology
Minimum Requirements
- Mean Grade of C- (minus) in KCSE.
- No cluster subject requirements.
5. Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology

- Mean grade of D+ (plus) in KCSE.
- No cluster subject requirements.
6. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
