How to Register on the IFMIS Supply Portal
Here are the step-by-step instructions for registering a business through the Kenya Supplier Portal:
- Begin by accessing the internet through your preferred web browser.
- Navigate to the Kenya Supplier Portal by visiting supplier.treasury.go.ke.
- Once on the Kenya Supplier Portal home page, locate the link to initiate the self-registration process, typically found in the bottom left corner.
- Click on the self-registration link, which will redirect you to a form requiring your company details from the requirements above.
- Fill out the form with the necessary information and meet all requirements.
- Upon completing the form, submit it for registration.
- Following submission, you will receive an email indicating the status of approval from the IFMIS Department, confirming the registration process completion.
NOTE:
When submitting company details on the Kenya Supplier Portal, it’s important to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Ensure that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are completed as they are mandatory.
- Utilize uppercase letters throughout the submission.
- Avoid the use of abbreviations or special characters such as “&” for “AND”.
How To Reset the IFMIS Supply Portal Password
In case you forget your IFMIS Supplier account password, here are the step-by-step instructions for resetting your password on the IFMIS Supplier Portal:
- Go to the Supplier Portal log-in page and locate the log-in assistance link.
- Once found, copy the URL provided, which typically appears as supplier.treasury.go.ke…etc, and add “https://” before it to ensure a secure connection.
- In the designated field, enter the username that was initially provided to you when registering on the IFMIS-Kenya Supplier Portal.
- Click the “Forgot password” button to initiate the password reset process.
- Check your email inbox for a message containing a link to reset your password.
- Open the email and click on the provided “reset password” link.
- Similar to step b, ensure that the URL in your browser begins with “https://” for a secure connection.
- Enter your username when prompted.
- Create and confirm your new password as instructed.
- Finally, click the “confirm password” button to complete the password reset process.
How to Retrieve and Apply for Open Tenders on the IFMIS Supply Portal
- Begin by obtaining the online tender number from the organization that has advertised the tender.
- Access the Kenya Supplier Portal and log in using your credentials.
- Once logged in, navigate to the “Sourcing Supplier” section.
- Click on the “Sourcing” option.
- Select “Sourcing home page” to proceed.
- Under the “Open negotiations” section, find and open the dropdown menu.
- Select “Number” from the dropdown menu.
- Input the online reference number provided by the organization that advertised the tender.
- After entering the reference number, click on the “Go” button to retrieve the open tender.
